Eshkish started with a question I couldn’t answer for my own child.

I’m Najath. My background is in biotechnology. I run a public profile where I break down skincare ingredients, and my DMs are full of one question from friends, relatives, and strangers: is this safe? Will this work?

Four years ago, I became a mother. And when my son’s skin got dry (which it did constantly), I picked up the same bottle every other parent picks up. I realized that everything is more or less the same and there’s no real innovation in baby skincare. And no transparency whatsoever.

Parents are anxious and tremendously underserved.

So I talked to my sister, Nawal, a cosmetic chemist who understands the chemistry and skincare formulation. And we decided to build the brand we wished existed. Microbiome-friendly. Backed by real science. And transparent about every single ingredient, so no parent ever has to just hope again.
